SKYZONE INDOOR TRAMPOLINE PARK – SYDNEY

Find your inner child and put the jump back into your life

Nothing puts the fun into fitness like a trampoline. At SkyZone Indoor Trampoline Park, wall-to-wall trampolines have you literally bouncing off the walls. It’s the fun of a backyard trampoline times a hundred – there are literally hundreds of trampolines in one massive space just waiting to let you fly.

There’s plenty of parking outside the Alexandria location, which is close to the city and accessible to much of Sydney. It’s a good idea to book ahead online as spaces fill up fast. The park offers fun for everyone and a sneaky hard-core work out that you won’t even realise you’re having.

The Stratosphere

One hour of jump time will set you back $18 and includes special SkyZone grip socks – return trips with your socks cost just $16. Start out in the massive area called Stratosphere, which is a great place to practice your basic skills.

The Foam Pit is all about big air and soft landings. A place to take a leap of faith, throw a new somersault and land safely in a huge pool of foam squares. The Wall is great for extreme jumpers; dare devils, skaters and athletes. Get some genuine air and learn to ‘fly’.

Sky Slam lets everybody slam dunk like a boss. Get some uncompromising air as you slam the ball down through the net. Chuck shapes and show some swagger with your shots – you’ll easily give basketball legend Le Bron James a run for his money.

There are specifically designed dodge ball courts and competitions. The Dodge League sets teams of five against each other over a five-week comp with $500 prize money going to the winning team.

SkyFit puts some pizzazz into your workout. Change things up with the heart pumping cardio class, burn those buns with Tightbum or try your strength with X-Jump – a cross training workout that’ll push you to your limits. Just know that your legs will burn the next day – there’s nothing fickle about this workout.

Parents who aren’t keen on getting involved can sit back and relax with a fine view of the fun in a coffee shop that offers a wide selection of healthy sandwiches, yoghurts and some great coffee brews. Jumpers working up a sweat will appreciate the frozen slushies and a full selection of ice creams to cool down with.

SkyZone can also fully cater to children’s parties – it’s $34 pp for hot food, drinks, a personal party host, private party room and an hour of jumping plus socks. The birthday kid will also walk out with a free t-shirt and two free passes.
