The environment is extremely comfortable and everyone is very supportive of one another, no matter how uncoordinated you might be. The dim-lighting makes it easier to strip down to minimal clothing, as the more bare skin you have, the easier it is to hold on to the pole.
Pole Divas Prahran owner, Eleanor Hadley’s friendly and relatable persona gives you a sense of ease, which allows you to dance like no one’s watching. During the lesson, she takes time out to work with each member on their moves and make sure they feel comfortable and satisfied that they’re doing it right.

Beside the courses on offer, casual classes are also a great way to get involved in pole when you have a busy schedule. One of the casual options is a fly-gym class where the main focus is aerial fitness using a sling and combines both pole and aerial tricks. This class focuses on balance and core strength with the support of the sling, which allows you to feel comfortable as you stretch and swing mid-air. The support of the apparatus also allows you to achieve moves that you may not have been able to do on the pole. At the end of the fly-gym class the instructor tells everyone to hop inside their slings like a cocoon and rock to and fro to relax. Just watch you don’t fall asleep because it’s very peaceful!
Overall, Pole Divas is a great fitness experience that’s guaranteed to make you feel sexier and firmer when you walk out the door, no matter how clumsy you think you look.
