Get restaurant-quality food in the comfort of your own home with this affordable personal chef service

Are you way too busy to cook gourmet meals every night? Stressed about getting the right nutrition into the kids? Or would love to entertain, but can’t even dream of having the time to prepare anything during the week? Well, there’s now a brilliant new option for Sydneysiders. Get the Chef In is a catering service with a difference. It was set up by Chef Daniel Georgoulas who was driven by his love for cooking and his desire to give people healthy, fresh, preservative-free food at home. Most meals can be frozen, too, so are a great back-up option for your freezer. All meals come with cooking instructions and side suggestions as well.

Every week Daniel looks at what’s fresh and in season and creates a menu. He cooks every one of his fresh seasonal dishes himself them delivers them to your door. He only uses free-range poultry and all of the meat and seafood products are Australian grown.

It’s like having your own personal chef and it’s a much healthier option than the mass-produced food in the supermarket.

With over 20 years’ experience, Daniel is fascinating to watch in the kitchen. You can hire him to come to your house and cook a two- or three-course meal for you and your guests. It’s a whole new level from the catering companies that have been around for years. It truly is restaurant-quality food in the comfort of your own home.

You can drink whatever wine you like without the exorbitant price tag and get brownie points for giving your friends a stunning evening. Daniel is also more than happy to give pointers and more often than not the dinner parties also double as a private cooking lesson for those guests who enjoy the kitchen.

So often the fine China and crystal glassware you’ve spent a fortune on sits in the cupboard all year gathering dust because you simply don’t have the time to entertain. Get the Chef In is such a great option and very reasonably priced at $95 per person for a three-course meal. And Daniel even does the dishes. If you’d prefer to cook it yourself and get all the credit, you can simply order in a fresh meal and put it in the oven.

The good news is you don’t have to sign up or commit to a minimum amount of ordering, you can order once a week or once a year. The bad news is it’s only available in the Sydney region.

The Get the Chef In weekly meal service works by subscribing to their mailing list. Just flick Daniel an email on requesting to subscribe – it’s commitment free. Orders are made via return email and food is ready three days after the cut-off date for that menu. Pricing for the weekly menu ranges from $17 for a 2 serve up to $35 for a family serve.
